These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your access to and use of 1HVE at 1hve.com and its family workspace. By using 1HVE, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. “You” means the adult account holder using 1HVE.
Who may use the service
1HVE is designed for parents and legal guardians who are at least 18 years old. Student records are managed by the adult account holder; students should not create accounts or sign in themselves. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and devices secure.
What 1HVE provides
1HVE provides tools to organize homeschool activity and reading logs, selected work samples, family records, and state-focused informational checklists. Some features may be unavailable, incomplete, or changed during beta. You are responsible for reviewing records for accuracy and keeping any copies you need.
Informational service—not legal or scholarship advice
1HVE is not a school district, government agency, law firm, accountant, scholarship administrator, or financial adviser. Checklists, dates, state rules, scholarship explanations, and document tools are general organizational information, not legal, tax, educational, or financial advice. Requirements and programs can change and may depend on your circumstances or district. Confirm current requirements, deadlines, eligibility, funding, and submission procedures directly with the relevant Florida district, the Florida Department of Education, Step Up For Students, or a qualified professional. Using 1HVE does not guarantee legal compliance, scholarship eligibility, reimbursement, or acceptance of a document.
Your family records and uploads
You retain your rights to information and materials you submit. You give 1HVE permission to host, store, display, and process that material only as reasonably needed to provide and protect the service. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit it, for the accuracy of entries, and for maintaining any original or backup records you require. Do not upload unlawful content or unnecessary sensitive information, including medical or financial records.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse 1HVE, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious code, violate another person’s rights, or use the service unlawfully. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably needed to protect users, the service, or comply with law.
Third-party services and links
Sign-in is provided through Google. Hosting and storage are provided through Cloudflare. Paid checkout is provided by Stripe. The service may also link to agencies and scholarship organizations. Those third parties have their own terms and privacy practices; 1HVE is not responsible for their services or decisions.
Plans and payments
Free beta users can currently use the core recordkeeping features, including multiple students and portfolio PDFs. Family is an optional recurring plan at $7.99 per month or $59 per year; Founding Family is a $99 one-time offer. These plans currently support development rather than unlocking exclusive features. Founding Family access lasts for as long as the 1HVE service operates; it is not a guarantee that the service or every feature will exist indefinitely. The price and billing interval are shown again in Stripe Checkout before you confirm payment. Recurring Family subscriptions can be managed or canceled through the billing portal in your workspace. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not erase your family records. For refund requests, contact zak.harris@gmail.com; applicable law continues to govern your rights.
Availability and changes
We are building and testing 1HVE. We may add, modify, pause, or discontinue features, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. Keep your own copies of records that are important to your family. We will post updated Terms on this page; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Disclaimer and limits
To the extent permitted by law, 1HVE is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit every family’s needs. To the extent permitted by law, 1HVE is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
